    Yes the police were shocked, and most likely even appalled, but the man is still gone and I seriously doubt that much if anything substantial will be done about that route to improve cyclist safety.
    The ridiculousness of cycling clothes increase exponentially in relation to the distance from your bicycle.

    Sorry to hear of this. I hope the video helps them identify the driver.

    I know the spot. I have seen the traffic. I have relatives living near there. I am also aware of how hard it is to stay vigilant and how easy it is to suddenly have a truck beside you trying to turn right. Stay safe out there. Remember it is too often the driver that doesn't see you and who you don't see about to do something stupid, that gets you.
