    People and businesses get really defensive when it comes to placing Changeable Message Signs. Thats probably behind this CMS sign being placed where it was placed. Oh, but dont worry b/c chances are good some cager will take the damn thing out costing tax payers around 50k to replace..

    Now that you mention it: I have this one, took the pic myself in April 2005 here in Hamburg. The sign is gone now btw.

    Actually my wife and I DID ride the stairs because there was no sign on the top.

    I also know that back then there was a very active urban downhill group here. Thats probably why they put up the sign there.
