    I don't know the app, but, if true it would not be that bad especially for people that do many miles per day.

    Bike messenger or bike packers would benefit from it.

    The rating is not high though...

    Competive Cyclist tried something like this a few years back. You linked your Strava account and got a dollar for every hour you rode your bike. I jumped on that real quick and while it was legit, so many people signed up they killed the program after a week or two.

    Was really hoping to never pay for small parts ever again, but alas, it was not to be.
