    5k miles for 2015

Set a goal of 5,200 miles for 2015 (100 miles/week). Almost hit my 2015 goal last night hitting 5k miles. Had to celebrate with a stop at the Mother's tasting room. Resetting my goal and targeting for 6,500 miles for 2015.

Congrats!!! 5k is my goal as well, but as it stands now, I am not sure that I am going to make it. Will give it my best though, and if I make it, I will celebrate. If I don't, I still will have ridden quite a few miles for the year.

Thanks. Started running this year too. I'm down 40lbs since I started back up cycling and bicycle commuting in 2012. I have 30 to go. Just picked up a Unicycle on Monday to work on balance. I want to be the fittest and funnest old grampa my grand kids could have. "I may be old and fat, but at least I'm slow." - Me
Maybe I can change my motto soon to "lean" and "no too slow".

Hey bikeCOLORADO nice job! 5000 miles is a lot, I know this because I just hit it for 2015 last week too!

I also have a VeloViewer account. Awesome site for data junkies.

Bedwards - What's your goal for 2015 now? I am a total stats/data junkie. I get so lost in Veloviewer, it's bonkers. Looks like you've been cranking out the miles too - congrats.

I don't really do goals but my highest mileage year was 5853, so I guess I'll try to beat that. 6000 sounds like a nice even number. I'm at about 5150 now and have a century coming up + 2 more months of commutes so that should be easy.

Re VeloViewer, Yeah, I'm always trying to increase my VeloViewer score (92.36) by looking for the segments I might be able to improve. It's a sickness. I've got a sickness, or at least a cold so I won't be doing it on tonight's ride home, which looks to be rainy and cold. Blah.

Never heard of Veloviewer before. I'll have to do some playing around. I've got a score of 97.79 out of 99.77, but don't know if that's good.

I'm at 7500 miles this year. I moved so my commute is shorter now, I won't have near that kind of mileage next year (bums me out).

I feel like I am lacking with the numbers being thrown around here.

Um, yeah, that's pretty good. The score is a little funky. I've worked up to 93.27 out of 97.06. I couldn't even achieve a 97.79 since the max I can get is 97.06.

5468 Miles and counting...6000 here we come.

Since I can't get any better I guess it's time to retire.

^^Pro or trial? I think the data gets skewed for the trial memberships because it doesn't have everything to work with. I was 99.29 until I went all in and then it dropped. Not to burst your bubble or anything.

I am also in the under 1000 miles camp. I have no job to commute to. Great week this week plan to up the miles before the snow flies.

    Nice job bikeCOLORADO!

Hey I have one of those veloviewer accounts and I forgot totally about it. Hmmm, my score is only 96.10 though, you guys are way ahead of me.

Here is my chart. I actually have about 250 miles missing due to forgetting GPS (and forgetting to start GPS). Not going to break my all-time record from last year. This working at home is a mileage suppressor...

Wow, you are still cranking out the miles even without the long commute! I think any veloviewer score over 90 has got to be respectable. Especially since the scale doesn't even go to 100.
