    Fruita Weather-Mid September?

    Going for the first time mid-September. I'm stoked!!!

    What will temps be like? Chance of rain? Thanks!

    Normally it would be in the high 80's during the afternoons. October and September would be the premier toding months IMHO. We get 8 " of annual precip, about .70 " per month. Your chances of good weather are High. If it does get wet it dries out quickly, if it is wet the Mary's, Troybuilt, etc are the more rideable trails for wet. Here is a link to an automated weather station located 2 miles NE of Fruita. You can look at yesterday's temperature, rain, etc as well as look at the last ten years of data by month to get a feel for what it might be like.
