Eagle, CO: Hardscrabble/Pool and Ice 11/09

Hello, driving I-70 tomorrow and wondering if Eagle area trails are good for a quick loop. Thank you

By tomorrow afternoon, I think they should be OK... I rode the trails down lower yesterday and they were all good (but much more open than Pool/Ice). There will probably be a few slick/muddy spots, but it shouldn't be too bad. I might do a quick lap up there this afternoon, if I do I'll post an update.

Rode the pool and ice rink loop a few weeks ago. Man, that trail is getting trashed. Is it getting shuttled a lot or something? Its like the birth place of braking bumps - made at pool and ice rink and exported to a trail near you. Loved the climb, though.
I would advise not taking my advice.

For what itís worth... I rode Boneyard and Redneck Ridge this afternoon and it was all good. The trail had about 20% snow remaining, but it was still frozen since it never warmed up much today. Iíd imagine Pool and Ice is similar. If itís sunny and warmer tmrw, it might start to get sloppy in the afternoon.

UPDATE (on Friday): Pool and Ice is perfect. About 5% snow, but absolutely no mud anywhere.
