I think it's too early to commit to anything yet. We need to see what happens on Tuesday and where the white stuff lands...

That being said, I'm up for anything that's rideable on Wednesday.

Ya know, thinking about it, I think everyone who has access to a 29er should bring it on this ride to celebrate leap year. It would be the kool-aid drinker thing to do. I'll bring some Breckenridge in the flask to help with the celebrations.

(oh, and I would lend the Shinobi if anyone needed a 29er for the celebration)

If you all roll out from the swimming area to ride William the cat's fave I might be able to play catch up. Actually, I'm planning on hitting that particular traill tomorrow too.

It's the unofficial 29er mountain bike day. Some day when a month ends on the 26th, you can celebrate with your little wheels too

I'm just playing we're men and should beat our chests once and awhile, I actually tried a 29er before I bought this stumpy evo, and it the 29er didn't knock my socks off. But I can see the benefits it could provide. To bad there's no 26 day month feel so left out know dammit lol. Hope to ride with u guys on wednesday but got to jump out of airplane first.

There were strong gusts this morning but it has calmed down. Doesn't mean anything about what it will be doing around 6 though. Maybe we'll get a nice tailwind.

He's speaking metaphorically because he's planning on getting sloshed tonight...

I think Jaydude sent you a private message with directions. Post up if you're not able to read or find Jay's message.

Great ride guys; really like that one fun trail we rode. Sorry to show up late, play catch up, then not stick around for socializing. I was way too cold after the flats time; funny we get through all the rough singletrack and have flats on the cruise back. I'm putting a bunch of trail time tomorrow and Friday too. Tomorrow I'm likely hitting the Canon, but am open to other ideas. Friday afternoon I'm thinking Palmer.

This kind of came out. The two bright lights at the bottom are Jay and Todd climbing with the city behind them. Best I could get from my phone. My new camera has a night shot mode so I will have to bring it on some rides.

    ride stats/GPS comaprison

When I lost my GPS I started to use my phone to track rides. Now that I have my GPS back thanks to Kristian and a bit of luck I figured I would test them side by side. So, here are the stats from last nights ride.

    Phone :
distance: 11.43, elevation gain: 2,027, average speed 4.5, max speed 50.1

    Garmin:
    distance: 11.06 , elevation gain: 2,340, average speed: 4.4, max speed: 30.9

Looking at the elevation gain/loss chart on Garmin Connect I could also give the time of Paul's flat fix...but he probably doesn't want to see that haha.
