    Where to go Sunday?

Just to get this out of the way. I am a slow rider, not in the best of shape and don't have much $$ for gas.

Who's up for a ride Sunday morning? Jeffco area prefered

    Sunday

Depends on what you want to ride, I did a little scouting yesterday and with a high of 56 today trails will be in good shape, tomorrows temps in the 40s

Hope to see you for Sunday service

As much fun as the buckhorn/ jacks loop sounds. A few of us are opting for an early-ish 3 sis snow ride. Taking a chance the trails are packed down and rideable. Have some stuff to do in the afternoon.

any are welcome to join ! looking at lower 3sis lot at 8:30 am should be plenty chilly for hard snow.

Hoping top of EM is achievable- preferably riding to the top!

No i think I'm going to ride my 5" bike. After riding today I do not feel I will have the legs to push the SS up buckhorn. I will spend the day trying to chase you SS guys down.

I was thinking of heading down tomorrow a bit earlier, though I'm tempted to join the group since I would just be following the gps of last saturday's ride and some company is always good...

I rode Palmer this afternoon and it was good but some mud sections. I stayed away from Palmer Point trail that goes behind the houses cause I know that is usally the worst for sticky mud. Yucca was all dry, there were a few mud spots going up to the overlook and Kinikinick (spelled wrong I'm sure) was the worst for mud. I should have gone earlier before it thawed but I was hoping it was still cold enough for the ground to be firm.

    Hope that helps

Thanks for the great ride down at Stratton today. The trip down from Boulder was well worth it and I'm sure to come back!
The icy spots were a little sketchy, but it wasn't enough to kill the thrill of that descent...

I managed to hit up what I think was Stratton. Did chutes up to something, turned, road through some tunnels, did a trail with 6xx, had fun flinging fresh pow in the snow, got back to Chutes, did some more snow flinging in pow, go to base with a smile. New bike survived and I had a ride finally. Anyone else get the grin?
