New question here. Where to donate bike parts

Are there any places around Denver/Boulder to donate bike parts? Something like Yellow Bike in Austin if you are familiar with it. I have a crapload of old/new small parts to get rid of.

    Thx

A little longer drive, but if you are in the Fort Collins area you could drop them at the Fort Collins Bike CO-OP.

Park Hill Bike Depot is a great operation in Denver. That where all our shop's old/spare parts go these days. Derailler wasn't terribly user - friendly

+1 on park hill bike depot. The parts go to bikes that are given away to people in need or sold at a heavy discount and the monies go to the same cause. It's in the general vicinity of I70 and colorado blvd

There is a new Non-Profit shop in Pueblo called Cycle of Life that refurbishes bicycles and also takes donations on bikes/parts/stuff. Also able to write you a donation receipt for your taxes.

Last I herd the derailleur was shut down, and for quite some time. Word on the grapevine was the homeless had pretty much overtaken the place and really took advantage of what all the great people at the derailleur. Shame that it happend, but if you had ever been there- you knew that eventually they were gonna go under. Pretty much became a hobo hangout, and a place for hobos to get free stuff to sell.
