Tossers In Tight Spandex - This Thursday Night! FREE pint to all who pay for one!

Yeah that's right, I got a text from PBR_me! And he said Thursday is looking a-pretty-pretty good for him, so the T.I.T.S. ride is returning to it's rightful home on THURSDAY night this week! Buffalo Creek was a BLAST last week but if all goes well I'll be coming back from snowboarding that day SOOOO... I'd like to return back to the Motherland this week and suggest, nay! EMPLORE that we meet at Ironworks at 6:00pm for a pint and ride the Green from there and back, for another pint.
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Trucker In Tight Spandex?

Thanks for stepping up and getting this thing started! Doubt if my new ENO will be here but I think my freewheel unfroze from BC! I may have to pull the full squish geary off the wall and show it some love! So I get the first pint, but the free one? What FT you buyin the second? So will it be a repeat of us four minus bigbluedodge or what? Too many questions- im in.

Dont forget your hawaiian shirt for Kareoke night!

Snowboarding again Thrusday? I thought you were growing up and getting a 9-5 job. Lucky bugger

I'll see about Thursday, I'll give a tentative yes. As in I'd like to, but I'm starting to get a stupid head cold, hopefully I can hold it off.

Well, since special consideration was given to which day I was available I better make an appearance. If it's this effing cold out, I'm just drinking beers. I'm saving my tolerance for the cold for skiing. Just sayin....

Unnecessary? Tequila shots are always necessary!

I'm trying very hard to convince myself to ride T.I.T.S this week. Tequila may be my only hope.

I'm surprised you remember ANYTHING after the Pint-to-Pint!

Wasn't mgy doing shots of Tequila BEFORE the Pint-to-Pint anyways? Now that's hardcore! Although you know what they say... there's a fine line between dumb and brave, son.

Any word yet on trail conditions for Thursday night ride? I bet BC would be frozen still, assuming they aren't under 10inches of new snow.. lol Urban cruzin sounds fun, too... wonder which bike I need to bring. hmmm

edit: just saw report from rmac (thanks!) that GM was fun last night. Perhaps we'll be in luck...

Hmmm was thinking singlespeed, but it might be better to have gears in that choppy chunky slippery looking stuff. What were you riding lubes? Any thoughts on bike selection for the conditions?

    Very little dirt.
I blew off Jeremy's Traverse after too much hiking on S.L. trail & just dropped the west face.
Bottom trails have had a bit of traffic, so some dirt shows up there.

Judging from WKD RDR's struggles on the flatter stuff at Marshal Mesa area on a single speed in seemingly similar conditions - judging from the picture of Summit Loop, I would recomend against the single speed!
Wish I could join you. Don't think the kids would want to be without their dear old Dad, and on their own for the night.

Well I was lurking and am tempted, if you meet at 6, what time do you start riding, and for how long?

I don't know the Green Mountain trails at all... But I have a bike, and I do like stout.

usually start riding by 6:15 to 6:30ish, emphasis on ish. We usually climb twice if the trails and weather are nice but it is always variable. We just like to pedal for a little while. Come on out, it's a good time.

PBR - I've been feeling a little guilty leaving the kids too much lately, especially this time of year, with the wife gone, it's hard to leave them alone!!

Well FT is snowboarding and I've been instructed to pick up his lights which he forgot, of course, on my way to IW but I doubt he'll make it back since last I heard he was "warming up with Grey Goose and Coco." I just might be able to give up one of his lights...

So glad you got that one in there...We were just discussing that PBR's photos didn't capture FT's sweet moves. Let's face it, we were all jealous. How many nights of kareoke have we sat through and no one has ever made it up there?! Just sayin...I've never been more proud

I was still waitin for him to pull a Elvis and not just cause of the chops though they add to the effect. I'm askin for a rendition of Jailhouse Rock at the next TITS ride

What am I even DOING in that picture? Looks like I am about to administer a spanking of some sort!

Funny you should mention that. He was doing an "Elvis point" whatever that is later in the evening...
