WED. night at least for this week- aaa hockey sched. may conflict thursdays for a bit- we'll see.

I know Jeremy took y'all on a tour of gm - was thinking of 3 sis this week- but that is a better ride when it stays light longer with the jeffco curfew and all.

6:00pm at Ironworks- unless a change is posted this wed. eve. Maybe with a wed. nite some more folks can make it that can't make a thurs. nite. I will have the Amoeba demos along so post up if you want to try one. Thinkin Jay might be able to come along and join us!

If you want a fast pace- may not happen ive had a cold kickin my a$$ for a while now- maybe effects of that tick that was attached to me! But i'll do my best to hang on!

Probably out, but we'll see. Got a hut trip this weekend and we need to shop/prep/cook/etc. for it. Stoked on that!

We're headed out to McNamara Hut, near Aspen. Got a good crew going, There's 14 of us, should be plenty of able bodies with strong backs to pull sleds of beer. Ya'll have heaps o' fun riding though... I am a little bummed. Rode Chimney Gulch up to Windy Saddle yesterday and it was in great shape, and a good ride...

Joe, i think if we ride 3sis we should meet up there somewhere maybe dedisse or at Nate's house close by. I'll have to check with him. Have to see who all is going.

Thanks, but I'm just gonna throw everything in my pack, actually, and go light-weight/high-octane on the booze. The sled sounds like a good idea, but with the ski in being over 6 miles and 2,000' I think packing will be better. Hmmph, when I say it like that, it sounds all sissy-like. Heck, most TITS rides are at least that!

I'm in as well if I can borrow an Amoeba. I sent Jay an email earlier this week as I need to get a light for myself.

Yes, i will bring the amoeba demos along- I do not have any of the XPG's but you can see what my two look like!!

I have not talked to jay lately so not sure where he is on his build cue- I know he was taking a break as he has been swamped since the first of the year. Best bet is to contack him directly.

But i'm happy to share the Amoeba's that i do have!- You wont be disappointed with these

Lets look at starting at dedisse and ride over to 3sis.. 6:00 work or anybody able to make 5:30??- and anybody running later can meet us at the upper 3 sis lot. -

I emailed Jay the other day and he got back to me today so I'm going to borrow one of his XPG lights. I could possibly do 5:30.

Now if we can get the weather to cooperate- Hero dirt is in the forecast!

If anybody can update on the weather close to 4 that would be great- we could make a call then. I wont really be able to see the mtns. today.

I rode the trails south of Buffalo Park Road yesterday. Everything was good to go.

It's foggy up here today. No rain or snow (yet).

I meant to say everything north of Buffalo Park Road. Not sure about Evergreen Mountain.

I have to work late and I need another month of riding to be able to even try and keep up with you guys.

I'll try and give an update later on today. Have fun!

I can make it if I escape work early, but I'm wary about tackling a new trail in the dark after my last big crash at Buff Creek. How does this trail compare?

I was afraid it looked like snow in Evergreen, and was going to opt out. If this is your big comeback, I don't want to miss it...

Any local eyes on the Evergreen conditions?

I'm about a mile and a half south of Evergreen Mountain. It was pretty foggy this morning but it's slowly clearing up. No rain/snow at my place today.

monkey, thanks for the update. Looks like I'll be giving it a go.

hirsch, a small portion of it is pretty techy, (the sisters section) but the rest is pretty tame, the climb up Evergreen mountain is wide open. If we head down sisters unfortunately I normally end up hiking short sections of that. The climb up from Dedisse park is really steep, but you can also bypass that by going right to the 3-sis lot.

I'm looking forward to the pain of dedisse, and will give sisters a solid effort with my spiffy rigid carbon fork.

missed everybody up on GM tonight. The trails were desolate by 9 pm - just perfect for riding

A few more pics and a map...

Great riding with everybody, here's some closure to stuff we talked about.

These are the supercheap prescription sport glasses I was talking about. I can't link directly to the ones I got, but they're #700221. There's nothing special about the ones I got, in fact I might get another pair since they're so cheap and try those. There's a few with clear lenses that would be good for night riding.

Here's the gps track we ran. I forgot to turn it on on the way up, but I did set it before we started the descent, so just double that distance and that's about what we wound up doing.

    And some pics!
