Dude, I think you should rent that PBR board and go shred some waves.

I'm most likely out for Friday night. Most likely taking a day pass on Thursday to hopefully Ride Bergin Peak if the trails are open and frozen then heading up to Echo to shred. Do you realize how long its been since I've ridden my bike in daylight?

I tried to ride just around the ranch dirt here yesterday by day, and it was still a mud-fest had to turn around. I was frustrated after 2 days of riding the road fix in the wind.

I don't know if 6pm is late enough to freeze the dirt. This has been the year of frozen dirt...:-) If there is enough clear out there maybe a day ride would be better, I would be game for that somewheres...

Not gonna make it Friday night, TC and I are still in Jackson shredding the guh-nar. As in, so much guh-nar that you need to pronounce it with two syllables. Look for a regularly resumed T.I.T.S. riding schedule starting next week!
The older I get, the faster I was.

GM update: East side is slop the rest is dry. Zorro/DR also good. Ice/packed snow on the steps. You should be good if you are taking the normal route from IW.

Hmm...with such a warm day, I really want to ride while the sun is up since I'm off work early. However, if my plans change, Ironworks will work just fine and it will be nice to see some of you again. Rode GM/Zorro/DR with TooManyToyz today and as he reported, it was almost all dry on the west side.

Man, I knew it would bite me in the rear. Ended up just iceboarding at Echo. One of my falls ended up in a 200 yd slide down the mountain. Did I mention the rocks embedded in my knees. Next Year I'll stick with Loveland. I did hit my 1st rail today though. Have fun tomorrow night gents.

    Twas Cold n Windy

Besides, when it comes to riding that early, or riding in the cold, I am definately a Wuss.

Forgot about that. Firgured the only way I'll be able to hold BigBlueDodge's wheel this summer during some of the epics we have planned is to get out and put in some miles. Riding during normal hours doesn't work due to wanting to spend time with the family so early morning or late evening rides are the way to go.

As far as the cold goes, I thought we broke ya of that on our last TITS Ride

Did I ever tell you guys what a good woman I have? She was telling me to go ride this afternoon then said, " wait, aren't the guys riding. Why don't you go ride with them, I'll put the kids to bed."

By the way...she is still riding a little too. New Year's eve at Bear Lake.

    I had to eat more!

Twas a truly good ride! Wow pretty good turnout! Jeremy........hope your ok!! Never seen you turn down a stout, even a stale one!

Fulltrucker you and TC missed a good one! Was warm enough for shorts!!

First ride in 09 for me, thanks to all who showed. Slowerthensnot, good to hang with you again. Lubes way to mysteriously show up and disappear without notice!

Shwingding, again happy birthday! I thought i was the old fart (40 on the 31st) on this ride, turns out i was the second youngest out of eleven, wow maybe 40 isnt so bad!!

Scar, thanks for the demo lights for those folks. Don't forget he sells them too!

Dirt on the brain, thank you again for the vol. 20!!

Good start to 09' looking at friday again for next week, i'll put up a thread! Anybody get any pics i was too busy riding and grinning ear to ear! Nice to meet and ride with some of you new folks!!

Wow good ride much much fun...plenty-o-climbin'...I really do need a brighter light. Pure dirt other than one freakish puddle of ice or something I plowed thru that got me yelling...pretty surprising in the dark! Still mid-40 degrees on the way home in January...wow, a lot warmer than the last one.

Fun riding with you all and with all the lights we really surprised the little group of hikers I think. Thanks PBR and MGepics for leading the way.

Whew...Thanks for a great ride guys. I was bonking pure and simple once we made it back to Ironworks. I was letting my ego get to me and trying to stay to close to the front after fighting the crud for too long and it whipped me bad.

A hot shower, a few shots of albuteral and my wife's homemade chicken soup and I'm feeling up to 80 percent at least.

Look forward to riding with of ya again.

Scar - thanks for the use of the light. Now saving my nickels and dimes to get one. That and will have to sell some stuff on Craigslist.

Rode GM this afternoon and it was perfect. Little snowy on non-south facing trails but no problems on the SS.

Rode GM around noon - perfect with just a dusting at that time.
Looking out the window now (11:00 pm) and we've got 1/2 " on the ground and it's barely coming down. Should be good to go tomorrow.
