im up for a shuttle on sunday

supposed to be in the 80s.

i dont know the trails good enough to lead, so we'd need a leader, unless you know them (but i see your avatar says centennial)

    so?,.....

I would be waaaay down for Sunday...we need Kristian. I don't have much of a drop off vehicle, but could get drivers back up there...not to the very top now that I think about it, but the turn off on Old Stage.

What time are you guy's thinking of meeting? You are talking about Pipeline up in Jones Park? I know the trail and instead of coming down Pipeline there is another way that is more fun, lot's of aspen's which would make it a cool ride. If my wife decides to work on Sunday I'm in, won't know till tomorrow night.

    Is this a DH ride?

I'm in. Just gotta go get a damn axle nut...

What time are we meeting and where?

Howzabout 9:00 at Van Briggle? I know the road to the top and can guide a bit... I want to drive too...the whole way. None of that climbing this time.

Sure thing. Take I25 to Cimmaron (opposite of power plant) turn LEFT (west) this is now Highway24. Go to 30th street (I believe) and its the stone/beige museum on the southwest corner. You'll more than likely see our cars there. Give my cell a call if you have problems.

Ah yes, the Van Briggle Pottery Factory. I'll be there with 1 other rider.

And I think it might be a right turn from 25 onto 24..regardless, go west.

The exit actually twists you around and makes you face north again so when you get to the stop light you do need to take a left.

I'm out for this shuttle I'm already in the dog house with the woman for going to a concert that night and not spending time with her. Although, if she is already pissed at me, what is the worst that will happen.... She'll still be mad at me. Maybe I will go.
It's not a good ride if you don't scare yourself at least once.

Assuming I can still go, my suv can fit a good 4 bikes draped out of the back while holding myself and one passenger...

due to the leaves changing up in the high country this weekend, i was thinking of maybe meeting a little earlier to try to beat the crowds of hikers on the trail, meet at 7:30-8:00 and try to be on the trail by 8:45ish, i know this would be tough for all you guys up north, let me know what you guys think.

I was just checking in to see if anyone wanted to push the time back to 10am. I can't meet any earlier than 9am...thats crazy. I doubt there will be crowds of hikers on Pipeline anyhow.

i'd be up for leaving early. also if we want we could have jason shuttle us to the top for $10 per person. then we won't have to go back up. he can comfortably take 8-10 people, but we've gotten as many as 14 people with bikes.

anyone interested in paying for a ride to the top post up and reserve a spot. not having to go back to the top for your car saves about two hours.

Hey Guys! Thanks for letting me tag along on the ride, hopefully I didn't slow you guy's down too much. Sorry I didn't see you at the parking lot at the end, when I turned around to look up on Gold Camp there was no one there. Figured you must have turned off onto Columbine. Once again thanks, now I need to go clean up my bloody knee and elbow!

If you want some of the video footage, just let me know. Jeff
