    OK I'll ask the question

Did a little looking around and could use some more info, the school has 11 sites so where exactly is your son going to school?

    Visit Early

There are tons of good places in and around Leadville but remember summer ends there before the front range. If you choose to visit late in the year bring cross country skis. They have a great set of groomed trails.

    Not sure about bikes rental

You can drive over to Aspen or Breckenridge to rent a bike as Leadville is not that big, but some of my favorite trails are there. You can ride the full loop around Turquise Lake which is techy or you can hit the Colorado Trail on the West end of the lake which will take you into the heart of the rockies, two pieces of advice for that region, bring your layers even in the middle of summer, and oxygen if your a flatlander

Do some research, that area is very unique and you don't want to miss out.

    Dam,
