Ran into some funky trail conditions today

    I'm thinkin:

Conditions deteriorated somewhat, if that were possible.
    Solid, but glazed over

    Felt like:

I did manage to find the goods.

    Felt like:

Desperately trying to keep my teeths in my mouth, I opted for the hardpacked snow route down.

    then I was like:
the drugs made me realize it's not about the drugs

    Duh?
I literally had a difficult time getting from my front door to my sweet minivan this morning, as the driveway was glazed over. Slid down to a crack, got stabilized, tried again, slid all the way to the street.
Made my way back to front door, went through house to garage, accessed van from there, where I could hold onto it so as not to slide down driveway again. Pulled into street and began the chipping/de-icing process.
Glad we don't live somehwere that gets regular ice storms.

    From tonight:

I watched my dogs slip and fall down the patio stairs yesterday, and again this morning. Good stuff.
