Tough request... I only have a few pics of me actually riding. I should probably figure out the self-timer thingy on my POS and do some more of that!

Me around 5yo rockin the flag and a sweet motorcycle helmet! I think I had better wheelie technique back then:

I'll Play! Proud chick rider moment...

It took me a looooong time (like 2 years!) to find the courage to go down the "cobblestone" section of Lair. Finally, this past summer I did it. And, I didn't even wreck. Funny, it wasn't nearly as scary as I had thought it would be...

PS I have never posted pictures here before, I'm not very confident they will show up. (computer illiteracy is a sad thing). Here's hoping they do...

    nice

Neil that is just good technique. Lean forward and into the corner so the front tire gets full traction.

That is some real biking skills there... the ability to wreck a 10-speed in such Napoleon Dynamite fashion without having pegs or shocks is awesome

He should have carried his bike instead of trying such difficult moves as turning. His resting heart rate was probably pretty low, so we should cut him some slack.

You must be a constant source of embarrassment for your friend.

Here, let me help you. It is either, "Those are some..." (The plural is required in your sentence.), or, "That is a real biking skill..."

I'll stop at this point, as continuing to correct the rest of your assassination of the English language would take immense effort, and I'm sure you have neither the patience nor the mental fortitude to follow any further.

However, I will say this: Your authority to describe anything represented in the photo as "real" is also suspect, to be charitable. Considering your obvious lack of basic grammar proficiency, I also doubt your understanding of the simplest ontological problems.

    Let's break this down.

What "friend" are you referring to?

You must be a real cross nerd to get offended by my post. Sorry if I poked fun at a guy eating poo on a 10 speed with knobbies. I find it funny.

Please quit trying to seem/sound smarter than you are. Your post is one of typical douchebaggery... "Wait... I think I... Yeah, I just had an idea. I'll write a witty and long-winded post so I can make myself seem smarter than I am."

Jeez guy, I was joking about the cross failure.

Ontology...seriously? You over thought this response. When I saw that you brought philosophy into a singular (that means one, language cop) post cracking fun at a cyclocross crash, I almost spit out my coffee from laughter.

    P.S.

You will notice in my post, that I posted a photo of myself crashing. Crashing is funny.

A couple of my ugly mug from this season.

Northstar in October. Livewire is so much fun.
Snowmass G3 Super D. Maybe the most fun I have ever had on a bike.
Good times at Hall Ranch- November and still riding in shorts and a short sleeve. Can't beat it.

    whoa...

fun thread. i was expecting a "who was shuttling Apex this weekend in full armor and didn't even say "Hi" when i let him pass" rant.

ps.. i've got to give major props to the dude riding the 20" bike at bootleg. it looks like one of those fold up bikes.

A 27mph self portrait, somewhere in the middle of Nevada on HWY 50.

This one is for JoelAlamo, cuz I know he loves cx

People who race cross are sissies that always run their bike

Racing at Deer Valley, the infamous Waterfall...every course has a 'waterfall'.

Another Bartlett Wash pic, for the sissies. For the record: I would never hit this on 29" wheels.

Here here! CX is easy, like an Angelfire DH x 9 (or 12 if you're Open)

I was wondering how things were going for you guys last Sunday.

Course conditions were uhhhhhh exciting? Things ranged from firm grippy snow to off camber hardpack/ice but it all looked the same, a bit dicey. There was mud mixed in some spots for good measure.

It was a fun as a DH race. People just eating sh1t all over the place. Due to my ability to stay upright I ended up in 8th in Cat 4. The singlespeed performed quite well. One less thing to worry about.

It took me a looooong time (like 2 years!) to find the courage to go down the "cobblestone" section of Lair.
So where are the pics of you riding up that?

dude, it's the east coast. a transition? what the hell is that?

there is one right after this that actually has a slight degree of slope to the landing, believe it or not.
