I'll be hitting up the trails around Lyons, waving my arms off, assuming it's not too snowy.

I think I'll try to go somewhere.
What did you have in mind?
    Chimney/Apex?
    Falcon?
    White Ranch?
I live at in the neighborhood at the base of Apex, and need to be home by 10:30-11 or so.

I was going to but I broke my finger at work yesterday and was told not to ride my bike for 6 weeks. I guess I'll be getting an early start on beer drinking.

Damn, it's going to be COOOOLD that early. =/ Too bad you can't wait for the sun to come up a little. I'd be up for a ride cause I have nothing to do Thanksgiving. I just moved here and all my family is back east. But I doubt I could keep up with any of you guys. I'd just slow you down on the climbs.

Come on down BaeckerX1 - just bundle up a little. I wish I could wait until the sun was higher to warm things a little more, but it's that or nothing for me tomorrow.
Sorry you have no one to hang with on T-Giv - if mine was being had at our house, you could come over, but I'll be headed to my brother's.
Maybe I'll have some leftover turkey for ya!

dirtydee, look for me in a blue Dodge Caravan.

Heh I just might come out in the cold weather gear. Where's the trail located at? How much climbing are we talking about?

    Morisson.
Take C470 to the Morrison Rd exit, and head west.
Go through the town of Morrison and head south at a light - HW 8.
Go about a mile and watch for signs - Mt Falcon Open Space - take a right on Forest, then a right on Vine.
It'll take you into the lot.
I'm not gonna lie to ya (I love that saying) - it's a pretty tough climb - one of the toughest of the Jeffco Open Space. I think it's like 1500' in 3 miles. once you get to the pavilion there are options.

Haha. That's the rumor. I doubt I could hack that at 8:30 in the morning in the cold with as out of shape as I am. I'd just slow you guys down. You guys have fun though. Let me know if you're ever doing something a little less intense and I'll come out.

I still don't have any lights! I need to find some good lights for a reasonable price. The good thing is I have some tasty upgrades coming in the mail next monday. Upgrading my entire drivetrain, wheelset, etc.

I'll be on a black and gold 29er. If you're lucky, I might even wave.

Contact Scar for an Amoeba - great lights at even better price. These things are very bright, light and for the money, the best value in lights I've seen.

Yes, I was bummed too. Sorry, I went ahead and had fun without you though. Hope you get things going soon! Keep me posted - I'll come down and ride RT with ya if we can work it out.
I ended up just going to the pavilion and back. I wasn't real thrilled with my time, but haven't been doing much climbing lately, and came in a little under the all-important 1 minute per year of age motto for that ride.
Hope your T-Giv was good, and the sis-in-law was tolerable!
    Later!
