    OT: C Springs X/Backcountry skiing

New to the area and with all the snow that is droppig I'm wondering if anybody knows where to go in/around Colorado Springs for X-Country/Backcountry skiing? Are any of the bike trails good for that around here. All I have done is Palmer Park and while there area few sections here or there that I could back country ski, most seem pretty difficult.
    Thanks for any info

Are you looking for turns or a tour? In town you can hit any of the open space parks if they get enough snow. High Drive and Upper Gold Camp roads can also be decent. Up the hill around Woodland Park there are also some good options - Drop in or call Paul at Team Telecycle for info. The Crags area on the backside of Pikes Peak is good for a tour.

Poach the old Broadmor ski are for turns
