... and if we just ... My new toy

Replacing my stolen SC Nomad, RIP.

Thanks to Adam and crew for the sweet sweet build. Anyone wanna ride bikes?

I know I never post on here but there's a few of you I feel I should ride with more often. Perhaps you can just send me ride links and save me the effort of trolling on MTBR?

    Mucho appreciated!

Ditto...it is carbon after all...and I've always said carbon has no place in the mtn. biking world....I feel like I've sold out to the market hype...and the 2 less lbs. Now if I just lose the extra 30lbs I'm carrying I'll be set.

You have a better chance of catching bigfoot, an alien, and the Loch Ness monster having a 3-way. Kirk don't ride. His last bike wasn't stolen, Santa Cruz performed an intervention for the bike's sake.

Marketing hype, or not, it's hard to deny the numbers:

Carbon fiber is a general term. It's the same as generically stating something is steel. It depends on who makes the carbon, and it looks like SC makes it right.

Your new bike has been christened "Black Unicorn". Better find a good hiding spot for it.

The thief has downloaded a pic of IE's new ride and given it to his "wheelman" GF. "Keep an eye out for this bike, I want to add it to my stable".
