mmmm, just finished off my Russian Standard. The good old father-in-law does business with the owner, so it's a requisite addition to my bar.
I think I'm moving on to Colorado Whiskey... my stock is low...

A few hazed at Loveland Rathskeller, then a Breck 471 IPA and 5 barrel at dinner, now to close the evening with a dogfish 60minute.

Had some Dale's at the shop for Friday happy hour. Mom's out tonight and I just got the kids into bed (after snacktime watching "Roam"). Now I'm settled in with this. Boulevard Brewery out of KC do an occasional special series. It's this year's Saison - kind of like a Belgian Pale Ale. My Dad brought it out when he came out for Thanksgiving. I like when he comes out with good surprises

Guinness XO. I highly recommend the Guinness fans try it. 1 shot of Patron XO and 1 Guinness. Creamy goodness.

Why didn't ya tell me my glasses were so dark for a night ride? No wonder I almost went off the side of the Green.
For the record, that's all the hair on my chest, for those who care.
And it was a couple/few IW Scottish Import previous to Dale's, thanks to the taste test from Full Trucker last Friday night - good stuff.
    Hop Killa 1.8.7 next week

The last few drams of a bottle of Balvenie 17 year old Islay cask.

    I'm curious about that Stranahans...

Regarding absinthe, Alandia guarantees delivery to the US ($$$ shipping charges, though).

Going to chime in again, here because beer is a subject close to my heart. It's now Sat and I've gotten over my cold. I'm having a Full Moon from Blue Moon Brewing, it's ok. Regarding the Odell IPA posted above, I have to say that I wasn't impressed. Stone's Ruination IPA is better (their Levitation Ale is the cat's pajamas and their Barley Wine will cause numbness in the extemities). Also, what's the deal with Dale's Pale Ale. I know that it's brewed in Lyons, does that alone account for its popularity on these forums, or is there more to it?

in response to dale's pale ale. i think it is a great beer, but my favorite oskar blues beer is the gordon. plus, they can all of their beers, which is awesome. how many great brews can you drink out of a coozy? not many...
