    DR - noon today

Short notice, I know, but I'm going to hit Dakota Ridge today around noon if anyone is interested in coming along.

Can't today, but I'll probably be down there by about 9am tomorrow morning if you or anyone else wants to ride.

Do a favor and post up about the dryness, or lack thereof, yeah?

Going to hit up Hall, at least the stem section later today. First I'll have been on a bike, other than commuting in a few weeks. Ouch.

I sure wish I could make it today. Can't get away today, though.

I wonder if that big truck is still up there.

Hmmm, I rode it yesterday late afternoon, but this could happen again. What starting point at noon?

    Later,

MW parking lot - I'm just planning to do a DR / MW loop, since I need to sneak back into my cage before they notice I've escaped.

tell me about it...there's a 29.23% chance I'll be there. We'll see what I can make happen. Bastards locked my cage.

Just use the ol' "I've got a meeting" line - if anyone pushes it, I just starting spouting sh1t about VPNs and IPsec until their eyes glaze. Of course - I work in a bank and am surrounded by bankers - you, on the other hand might not have much luck with this method, working at IBM and all.

I have to go back to work too, works for me. See ya there at noon. I'll be on either the AC again or the Evil.

Hey Scrubby, the hogback is dry except for patches between the wooden stairs, Red Rocks trail was wet in places yesterday, but nothing was real muddy, actually good shape for this time of year. I did not ride Morrison Slide yesterday.

It's a plan. I'll be riding a Steelhead - see you there. It should be perfect out by noon - it's 42 degrees out here in Evergreen right now.

Hey guys, also headed to dr/mw today. Will keep an eye out for you, but since we'll be leaving Den at around 12, you'll probably be well on your way by the time we arrive. Have fun...

That was good fun. It's a good thing I got out, otherwise I might have gone postal attempting to deal with the myriad "level 8" errors this afternoon.

Dakota Ridge on the singlespeed was a humbling experience, I'll have to try to do that more often.

It sucks that I missed it. And it sucks that I'm going to miss the riding down here this weekend. I think I might be able to make it to the mountain cross track in Nathrop, though, for a bit. That would be fun. I think the my girlfriend would kick me in the face if I did that, though. I'm supposed to be hangin out with her in Crested Butte this weekend.

They're working out pretty well. They don't have the modulation of my hydros (I tested them today ) - but I think they'll do just fine once I get used to them. Thanks a bunch. I checked out the gap today on DR (thanks, Brent, for the info) it looks sweet, I'm looking forward to taking the AC up there.

Hayes - they seem to stop well enough, I just need to get used to the feel.

I hit the trails at like 10is, and ran into dirteater at the parking lot at like 11:30. would have loved to have ridden with you guys but i had to be at work in parker at 1:00

My mornings durring the week are always open until 1:00 so if anyone wants to hook up for a ride, let me know, that is if you can wait for my fat butt to peddal up the hill.
It's not a good ride if you don't scare yourself at least once.
