    WTB vintage suspension forks

    Hello all,

Going to be putting an early 2000's TREK Fuel 98 together. Bike is mostly complete sans front forks.

    I need :
    26er
    1-1/8"
    Straight steerer
    Non-threaded
    Non-tapered
Vee brake (or vee brake/disk capable)
    80-100mm

Hoping to keep the cost low, ideally $100 or less, but would appreciate operable forks.

Clean up and tune ok, complete overhaul????, let's just say I would like to get on the trail asap if possible. But if the equipment is good, and the price is right, I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

PM me, or email me at
    Madcapwoodwright@gmail.com

    Thanks all!!!!

I got my eye on a set of air forks, if that goes through I'll have a set of dark blue 2000 rockshox judy race forks that are in almost immaculate condition (just picked up bike they came on, for a '00 its probably got 20 miles on it). These are kinda revered as the "best judy's", they are actually springs instead of the polymer dampeners of the 90's judy's, with oil dampening and "adjustable" compression and rebound and you can change travel between 63mm and 80mm. With compression adjusters cranked all the way in it didn't bottom out with my 240lb fat*** on it the other day. Has provisions for both rim brakes and disc brakes.
