FS: 2019 Niner Air 9 Alum (Small)

This bike was originally purchased for my 17 y/o daughter back in September. She hasn't shown much interest in riding it even after I converted it to a more cyclocross/gravel type XC bike. The bike was barely used and never ridden on trails. She might of ridden the bike roughly 4 miles total since purchase. It's in perfect condition, new brake pads and discs. In the picture you will see SRAM Centerline X discs, I changed them to Shimano RT-86 180mm (F/R) discs because the other ones were damaging the pads and leaving strange grooves on the disc because they were being disfigured, now, everything is running perfectly. I'm generally looking for local pick-up/shipping but if need be I can ship it out of Florida... Shipping will be extra depending on location, of course. I'm open to negotiate on the price but please be reasonably fair, I spent extra on upgrading it to make it a better all around bike. I will also throw in the mountain bike tires (Maxxis) it came with too..

Asking: $2,000 - Price is negotiable (Shipping will be extra - I would prefer local pick-up/shipping but I will not be limited to that, price will vary depending on location).

Ok, the bike has been officially posted on pinkbike and CL (Miami), price remains at $3,600. Price is negotiable so be fair if you're going to throw me an offer. Take under consideration the bike is practically unused and the upgraded parts list does add up. Thank you.

Good luck with the sale, saw your other one too.

Why do you extensively and expensively upgrade bikes no one rides?

One tries to unite a family with something out of the norm. They just weren't keen on riding I suppose no matter how I modded to what they eventually asked for (hence the Niner going more gravel) I was even going for the rigid fork. Unfortunately, they just turned away from the family hobby... At least my little girl (6 y/o) still wants to ride with her pops.

I just wanted them to have a well rounded quality bike and the obvious, I like tinkering with things, its a good hobby.

Didn't turn out how I want it, if the expected price of sale goes I'll have more money for the DV9 and who knows maybe a FS. I do like the Loki, though... I might keep that one.

Thanks for the gl. I'm probably going to take them down till after xmas. Doubt it will sell pre-2020.

You might be better off parting it out and selling the parts, or putting those parts on a frame you want to keep and ride. Aluminum Air 9s are selling for considerably less on eBay, albeit with lower end components in many cases. This bike might be over equipped for an aluminum frame. Potential buyers who want this geometry and level of componentry are probably more likely to be interested in the carbon version of the bike, which can be bought lightly used for the same price or less. If the parts were transferred to a more popular frame, you might get more of your money back.

I normally would agree with this but it would be too much of a hassle and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to sell the frame being that so many are anti air 9 alum... even on ebay a full 2 star bike for 1400 still there since before i posted mine... regardless of 27.5 or 29er :\

So, another price drop. I would assume too much price for the bike... I would agree if it was ridden its fair share of miles. Being that it was ridden a mere 2 times with barely any distance I believe the price was justified... man not even an offer? brought it down to 2000...
