I had one of the 2.8's that Cdale first came out with in the 1980s. I was so excited it was so light even by today's standards. But it road like a dump truck couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Until it got stolen last year I had a 1990s era M700 that I set up as a full rigid that was my fav bike. So the original Cdale investigated the problem and fixed it within 10 years. So now I'm looking for another 90s Cdale.

You know Finch, I just gave one away last week....of course, it only had cheap plastic valve-stem caps so it was kind of ugly.

Which the valve caps have nothing physically to do with.

'Spose I could have said, "Keep the PSI up, Finch" but frankly I'm afraid to suggest Finch keep anything up in a public forum. Private forum too for that matter. Even more so.

Great user name, mk Ultra. Oh, and one of my pals has an early 80's LL Bean branded Cannondale. That's old school...!
