Welcome to the Bear Den.

Up for sale is my custom 27.5 Chromag Kamui. My new bike is here, and there's no room for this one anymore.

The Kamui frame was considered to be Chromag's "racier" frame, translating to about a 2lb weight savings over other steel hardtails, while maintaining Chromag's reputation for getting gnarly.

What makes it custom, you might ask? Simple. First, 27.5/ 650b wheel compatibility- they never offered a 27.5 compatible frame before 2016. Second, check out the custom dropouts, then compare them to a production frame. Production frames had vertical dropouts- this frame has custom engraved horizontal dropouts, making this a perfect singlespeed candidate. (Side note: I ran this as a singlespeed; it rips!)

Pertinent frame details:
- 44mm head tube for tapered forks
- Threaded bottom bracket
- 27.2 seat post
- Optimized geo for 130 - 150mm travel fork
- Other info (sizing, geometry, etc.): Chromag Bikes - Chromag Kamui.

I can sell this bad boy in one of three ways:
Option 1 ($650):
- Frame
- Headset: Cane Creek 40 (minus crown race)
- Grips: Chromag Squarewave
- Seatpost collar: Chromag Seat QR

Option 2 ($900):
- Frame (obviously)
- Fork: 2014 Manitou Mattoc Pro. 140mm currently, but can go up to 170 for 26er wheels by removing spacers. Fresh seals and damper bleed this past February. Upgraded Hexlock SL axle in addition to the stock one.
- Headset: Cane Creek 40

Option 3 ($1150)
- Wheels: Ringle Inferno 27 (23mm i.d.) to Sram x9 hub (rear); wtb st i23 to formula hub 15mm thru (front)
- Tires: rear: Ardent 2.25 (tubed, didnt have an extra tubeless valve); front: Spesh Butcher 2.3 (tubeless)
- Cassette: Shimano XT 11-36.

*No seatpost or saddle included. Stem is, if you want it.*

Strong preference to locals with cash, but I'm also willing to ship on your dime. Feel free to ask other questions if there's something I've missed.
