    Yakima or Thule

Im finally giving in and im about to order a hitch mount for my Chevy Tahoe. At first i was interested in the hanging hitch mounts but with further research i fell in love with the stand up hitch mounts. Now im stuck deciding on which one is the better deal, quality, etc. My 2 choices are between a Yakima and Thule just trying to get you guys inputs on which one would be best and maybe some of ya'll have ecperience with the 2 im looking at.

    1. Yakima Stickup 249.99
    Yakima Shop Bike Hitch StickUp

    2. Thule 990XT 299.99
    Thule*-*990XT Doubletrack

one thing i like about the stickup that the doubletrack doesn't do is it folds away from the vehicle, like the holdup or the t2 would...so you can access the rear of the vehicle with bike(s) loaded.

so thats 1 for the Yakima Stickup, what about security features for it. Isnt there a additional piece that u can buy so no one can steal the hitch off my truck?

you can purchase the hitchlock, which locks the rack to the hitch, or the lockup, which includes a long cable lock and the hitchlock together.
