    Trunk Rack's

So here is my current situation. I drive a 1997 Honda Civic Sedan (boring car, I know) and I need to make it into a bike hauler.

My initial thought was to do a hitch mount, but the cost is just too high right now.

So instead I am going to do a trunk rack I went up to REI today and was shown the Yakima SuperJoe 2 and KingJoe 2. Both looked fairly nice (though I am not sure what exactly makes the KingJoe $35 more) but I want to know if there are more options out there that are worth checking out.

Any other suggestions for quality trunk racks?

Do a search, this topic has been covered several times already.

Either way, they're all basically the same. I currently use a Saris Bones 3 bike on my gf's 2006 Honda Civic. They're highly adjustable and fit most cars.

Trunk racks aren't really that popular since they're so unstable. If you can deal with it, save your money for a hitch or a roof rack.
