thule roof rack - mounted correctly?

I just bought a thule roof rack used off craigslist and put it on my '98 montero sport. I took off my factory cross bars and put these in their place. Is this installed correctly? I think it's an older model 1050. Thanks for any help.

NO WAY!!! you have the wrong towers...you are using raingutter towers, and you need a different rack system for that car.
looks like a 4runner or explorer...you need the thule 43050 tracker kit...it has towers, the kit that works specifically for the track system, and a set of 50" crossbars and lock cores...
    it's the best value.
if it's not that car, check the fit guide to determine the proper fit for that vehicle. when prompted, choose YES you do have a factory rack.
feel free to contact me if you have questions.....
    beware of that rack install!!!
whoever sold you that rack should be
