    Tesla SUV

I've driven the Tesla Model S in Insane Mode. It's...fast. The car is amazing but, obviously, for $135,000, it should be.

Enter the Tesla Model X SUV. $144,000 worth of small SUV. Fast as hell, I'm sure, with loads of cutting edge technology. But what's wrong with this picture?

Tough to market a SPORTS utility vehicle when you can't carry bikes, skis, kayaks, surfboards, SUPs, rafts, or ANYTHING on the roof.

As if the $144,000 price tag wasn't a big enough barrier

I am pretty sure for $20k or up they will offer some sort of moving technological marvel of a roof rack which even leaves Q speechless.

BMW X SUVs can't take a hitch, and they sell plenty.

If BMW X-series SUV's can't take a hitch, why do these exist:

    2016 BMW X3 Hitch

    2016 BMW X5 Hitch
I will suffer no butt-hurt fools!

That's a relatively new development. The ones with the m-sport bumpers couldn't take a hitch for years. I think there was a euro option, but nothing here in the US.

I'd call all the non M X5s a suv but i'd call most non M X3s wagons instead of suvs. That said My 07' X3 (non M) will take a hitch but i dont want to hack up the bummer to install it and im not into roof racks. So i just use a interior rack.

Just wait for the $35,000 Tesla Model III in 2017. It doesn't exist yet, but it's promised. What better timing to replace the "Volkswagon", or the "people's car" too!?
