    Swagman hitch rack?

Anybody seen or used one of these? Can't seem to find anything negative about them, and it's half the price of Sportworks. I want something durable for longer trips when having truckbed space is required. I'm sure Sportworks is better/simpler, but it will see limited use. A hanging style just won't work with the 575 without also messing with an adapter.

I can't comment on the cross country rack.

I did have an e-trailer hitch rack that was damaged in a collision where I was lucky the bike was not on the rack. The replacement for the model I had damaged in e-trailer's line was a Swagman rack which I ordered. When I got the new, Swagman rack the quality was not up to my expectations or the rack I had previously and I returned it.

My complaints included very light construction and joints that were not firm regardless of assembly torque.

I'd look at Hollywood or Sportworks over Swagman.

I have that same rack. It is sold under a lot of different names, got mine at target on super discount for $64. They are made by swagman as far as I know. The one I have is very solid, very strong. I have taken it on multiple hour drives with no issues and I am very satisfied with it. One thing, if when you pull it out of the box you are not immediately impressed with the thickness of the steel and the solid feel, you have something different. I put my rockhopper in, tightened the main lock, picked up my bike and rack at the same time and shook them. Nothing moved. Check target and ebay, you can find it cheap.

I have seen this same style tagged by other mfg's as well like Hollywood, Xport and Coleman. They are currently running very cheap on EBay but I wanted some input first.

    Thanks for the feedback.
