I just bought a Kuat NV for $500 I think @ Allstar Bike Shop in Raleigh NC. It was the 1.25" and I had to add an adapter to fit my 2" hitch. There is a bit of wobble but I think I can fix that with this

I am surprised you get wobble with the hand tight cam system. I wobble for me.

I have to use a hitch extender because I have a rear tire mount on the back, and its the hitch extender that allows the most movement. Its not a lot but its noticeable.

not sure why you would buy a 1.25" NV if your vehicle has a 2" hitch?
even if you need an extension, there are better options for 2" extensions, and anti-wobble pieces.

It was what they had in stock and I can use it on my other vehicle. Either way I would still have had to used a hitch extender. In the pic below the Kuat would have to clear that tire to reach my hitch(a little over 12 inches). Only way to do that is with a hitch extender. Its no biggie though; on my last rack I had to ratchet strap it to the bumper. But with the Kuat's little tightener I dont have to do that at all. The clamp in the above photo is for the actual hitch extender not the kuat. I needed to keep the hitch extender from moving.

I actually have the 2" hitch adapter and the locking pin. The locking pin keeps the adapter from moving side to side but not up and down.

    Hi Scott,

Would you ship to Canada? If so, could you let me know how much, either by posting or by sending me a PM. Looking to get a Kuat NV with the add on and shipping to Calgary, Alberta. Thanks.

Thanks Scott. Have been looking at your website which is very helpful. Is there a promo code that still works? Tried the one in your username but didn't seem to work.

it works on the "what's in my cart page" as a promotion code....lowercase letters.
it will not work on yakima swingdaddy or highroller racks.

Promotive has great deals if you work in the industry.
