    Roof rack on a Lincoln?

There can't be too many of these around...

I was tired of using the trunk rack this rack has been sitting in my garage for 3 years, so I finally figured out which clips to get (Yakima says the Mark VIII is un-yakable).

Nice I love my rocky mounts. They don't get much love, but for the money they cannot be beat. The new version is super slick, with the revised locking axle.

Nice, I had the same issue with my LS. They only sold an "oem" one (YAK) but yak doesn't offer one on their site....... So I went with a Seasucker.

Cemeb4dk: yeah, picked up the rocky mounts when I last moved and had to haul 4 bikes and a tandem...less expensive and work just fine. The new ones do look sweet.

Metric: the Mark viii has the same roofline as a T-bird which is listed as a yakable car. I'm guessing there wasn't much demand for a rack system on the Lincoln and Yakima didn't bother to test it. Regardless, the clips fit perfectly.
