Rack or stand for bike UNDER truck cap

hey guys, I'm sure someone out there has a good set up for a rack/stand or something along those line for a pick up with a fiberglass cap.

Currently I just lay my bike in the bed with the rest of my crap back there (mostly fly fishing gear). Looking for some way to have my bike standing up with or without the front wheel on so that I can maximize the use of space under my cap and minimize the chance of damage to my bike and/or the couple grand worth of rods/reels and other stuff back there.

I do both hobbies enough that it is 100 times easier to leave the stuff and bike under the cap than taking it out every time I do one or the other.

In my other truck before I had a cap I had a 2x6 with a QR type mount for the fork and it worked well but I didn't have to crawl my ol rear under a cap then either.

Anyone have any set up that they use or have seen that would work decent for under a cap?

    Thanks
    J-

Put your fork mount(s) in one of these or maybe do individual sliding trays for each bike like you see in the converted sprinters these days.

That's what I have in my Tacoma with a cap/canopy. The 2x6 is near the rear of the truck. I take the front wheel off and then roll the bike in (back wheel first) and then attach to the QR/thru axle mount on the 2x6. For short trips, I'll drive like that. For longer trips, I run a strap to the side-rails on the bed.

    Thanks.

Thanks guys. I donít know why I was trying to re-invent the wheel. I trimmed my old setup to fit my new truck and it works perfect.

(How do I post a pic?)
