picked up a new bike hauler

ello, well as of today, i traded off my 2007 chevy silverado for a Scion xB ... so far i couldn't be happier ... hah, these little things have a lot more room in them then i was expecting .. and the power and handling is nice for a stock setup, nice enough to keep me happy ...

got silver, with the auto (wanted manual but they had none on the lot, and couldn't find one within a few hours that was a color i would take) ...

after i get a better feel for it, will be changing some stuff for sure (wheels, radio, suspension etc)

now it is time to get a receiver hitch and bike rack for it ...

i had narrowed it down between this car, and the honda Fit .. but after driving both of them, i liked the room in this one better .. and how the motor felt...

I actually liked the old body style xB. That one is just Fugly (yes, with a capital F).

Nice ride and looks like it will haul bikes and stuff well. And hey, who cares if it's ugly, my wife thought Elements were ugly when they first came out and now she loves ours.

You know...I like it. It's a design that I hated at first but it has grown on me recently to the point that it would make my list of new cars to check out seriously. Looks like a great bike hauler, congrats on the purchase.

i could fit my bike and my gear inside of it ... but getting a rack for the rear ... for those dirty rides ...

when i first saw the scions .. i liked the tc ... but didn't like the xb at all .. the xa was nice ... but now that the new gen's are coming out ... so far i haven't found a reason to dislike any of em ...

My parents picked up an xD. Its quite roomy inside with a decent amount of cargo room. They haven't let me see if a bike would fit in back though...

i am getting 29 around town ... highway should be in the 30's ... but most of that depends on driving style...

mostly it went down because they increased the motor to a 2.4l ... it has the same motor as the tC now ...
