New Muffler for a 98 Ranger

Im thinking about getting a new muffler for my 98 Ranger step side 2.5L inline 4.
Does any one have any suggestions? Im trying to make it sound alittle more truckish... not a rice rocket.
Maybe even a little improvement in gas millage

Put a stock replacement back on. You can't make a 4 cyl sound more truckish without adding another 4 cylinders.

MAGNAFLOW. Find a good custom exhaust shop. Stay away from the midas crap shops.

My friend has a 98 ranger, he had a new exhaust system put on it, it's chrome and rectangular that sticks out on the side. It still sounds a bit like a ricer though.
