My Thule hits my bumper when folded up

    http://www.rei.com/product/816726/thule-t2-xtr-2-bike

I have a Thule XTR and it hits the bumper of my 2007 Corolla. Has anyone else dealt with this? I would like to fold up the rack when I'm not using it. Thanks for any tips.

Pictures or it doesn't count. Also, easier to offer help when we can see what is going on

A receiver extension might take care of it.

depends on how much the wheel tray hits the bumper...some people have filed down the top of the plastic wheel tray to prevent that.
i don't recommend an extension for 1 1/4" racks, unless you can take out the wobble with an antisway nut/bolt.
