In the market for a new car

    Hey all,
I'm currently looking for a new car to make hauling my bikes around a little easier. I currently drive a 2005 Scion tC but it's a bit on the small side for lugging bikes and other stuff around. I'm looking at the Honda Element as a replacement as it is well priced and still has pretty good gas millage. Others I'm looking at would be the Toyota RAV-4 or the Honda CR-V. Probably looking to spend about 22,000 out the door with tax and licenses. That would not be including the accessories or anything, I would add those on later. Just wondering what other riders would recommend. Any opinions or suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Andy

I'm looking very closely at the Honda Element awd. I would use it for skiing, camping, hauling the kids around, as well. The Scion xB is a great price, though.

just bought an 06 Xterra S (power package, utility package, and tow package) model for 22,100 + taxes and tags(stick shift), if you want an automatic the lowest we could get was 23K

The Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe are good for that. Fork mounts in the floor are even factory accessories. The Vibe has better availability, but you might hold out for a Matrix for the Toyota-quality paint! Both are Toyota underneath.
