yes, maybe--i really didnt do the research- the wife totaled the sunfire and i had been eyeing an outback so i contacted imba who contacted the dealer. i suppose is an ok deal because ive heard subie dealers are hard to haggle w/ on price and deals usually.

there were other issues w/ the auto later. the brakes did squeelsuck shortly after the car was brought home until recently when a subie dealer did change them to a different compund for me, the mileage isnt that good, and i discovered there was a broken grill that was replaced on the car before it was sold--something the dealer did not bother to divulge. oh and if you get the cheap engine--i suppose the same kind found in cavaliers and other medium sized cars--well the subie is of course bigger--so naturally the acceleration really SUCKS!!!

i still have it and at 65K miles, because i like how it handles my bikes and camping crap--but if i'd do it over again I'd check the vehicle out better. i'll drive it to 125K or more if it will last that long and then see what subie has to offer.
