More than that. I think the reserve (plus shipping) is too high for an item of unknown model, unknown condition and "as is".

From the supersized picture, it looks like it is somebody that works at a post office (notice all the priority mail boxes in the background and the wire fence). That much for shipping if they work for USPS?!?!

This from the auction "All of our products come from various auctions, straight from the factory, or companies that liquidate their assets or have excess inventory to clear out. We get many different and diverse items every day."

Sure buddy, don't you know it's a Federal crime to steal mail?

I know you are (at least half) joking. The fork was listed by an auction service. The Post Office will give you Priority boxes - even boxes with your logo on them - for shipping.

There are an amazing number of shipping labels on the fork box.

The only clue to the model I see on the box (other than 2003) is"...e DH Series". That would mean it is a dual crown fork.

That's a good estimate. If you win, hopefully they will re-box it to ship.

I would guess it's one of these.

That's assuming that what's in the box is actually what it says on the box.

I doubt I will get it. Not willing to bid much higher than I have already and still below the reserve.

I think he is going off of the "I-V-E-R" you can barely make out... i.e. the tail end of "Shiver."

    hmmm...
I do not see that anywhere. Where are you seeing it?

Pretty sure the big logo is "Bomber"

It's Shiggy vs. Fast Freddy. I love it!

The box says 'Bomber', '2003' and 'DH Series'. If I'm as savvy to branding as I think I am, I'm guessing it can only be one of two forks: a Junior T or a Super T Pro. I've deduced this from going to that Marzocchi website and looking up 2003 aftermarket forks for downhill use. Those two forks are the only ones with 'Bomber' stickers on the lowers. I would imagine that if it was a Shiver or a Monster, we'd see that on the box. This is, of course, going on the assumption that the fork is in its original packaging and hasn't been repacked (I once received a Kona Project 2 fork packed in a Rock Shox Reba box - imagine my conflicted feelings when I opened up the wrapping!)

I was going off the "I-V-E-R" on the box. But on closer inspection, it does say "Bomber" so it's probably one of the other dual crown forks mentioned.

I guess it could be anything in that box.

Guntersville is right near Scottsville where the unclaimed baggage center is located. That's probably where it came from so no telling what's inside that box. I bet it's just some old ladies walker that got left on the airplane.
