    Honda Ridgeline Suggestions

I've got a Honda Ridgeline fitted with a bakflip bed cover. Normally when I transport my 29er I just fold the cover and lay the bike in the bed (seat on the side rail) and secure with a strap. The only issue I have with that setup is that it's only good for one bike and I can't use it when my wife, son and I travel (because there are 3 bikes and we use the back for other stuff) I would like to mount rack-mount carriers over the truck bed but haven't seen a system that mounts directly over the bed and don't want my bikes at roof level (or I'd buy a roof rack set-up). I would consider hitch mounted tray systems if they were high enough to keep the bikes clean but low enough to clear the tailgate when the bikes were off. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

Biker Bar, Mid Size | Yakima

I would contact Yakima about this or the forum sponser and see if you can get two rails with one boa or just the rails and use whatever top piece you want. It seems silly they only sell the dual rails and roof height.

The best solution is buy a Tacoma. J/K. A bunch of Tacoma guys, myself included, fabbed up brackets that allow cross-bed bars to be attached and then put whatever you want on them. If you go to TacomaWorld and look for bed bars, you can find lots of ideas. I'm not sure if the Ridgeline has similar tracks on it, but it's worth a look.

When I had a truck, I just bolted QR mounts to a 2x6 and threw a strap over the handlebars. Worked great, and was super cheap. If you don't have a bed extender, I would just throw a strap through the rear wheels/triangle as well.
