    Cars with receiver hitch?

Besides the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, anyone know of an enclosed car (not truck) that comes with a factory installed receiver hitch? Need to rent for awhile. Not for towing but for inserting bike rack. Enterprise has the Chevys but they're larger than I want. Most rental agencies don't allow towing from cars (trucks ok), including Enterprise, so they all tell me they don't have hitches, but found the Chevys on a Enterprise lot! Staff was surprised but approved the bike rack. Thanks for your help!

I think jeep Cherokee would be another option. Possibly ford explorer too. I'm sure both of those at least offer class 3 receivers as a factory option.

Can't think of a car, but you might find small SUVs like an Escape

    Cars with receiver hitch?

Toyota 4Runner. Highlander and RX350 come with a 2" hitch if tow package is equipped. Most of your midsize SUVs/CUVs will have a receiver hitch standard. Compact (Escape, Rav, CRV) rarely have a 2" hitch standard.

No car that I aware of comes with a factory hitch option. But most SUV's have a factory option for them.

I was in the same situation last year with Enterprise. Unless you are a corporate client, Enterprise doesn't want you to use the hitch due to liability concerns. You may have to get a Navigator, Explorer, Pilot type vehicle if you need the hitch, and don't mention to Enterprise you need the hitch. Large vehicle trucks usually come with the hitch.

if you want to verify this info, call an Enterprise office you won't rent from to confirm.

    Good luck.

Can't you just go on Enterprises website and start the process and check that way?

Interesting for I found this on their main page:

When the towing gets tough. Enterprise makes it easy.
Wherever you're going, getting there is easy with towing options from Enterprise Truck Rental.
