    Cadillac CTS

Anyone have one? Specifically a 1st gen.

I am thinking of getting out of my gas hog Land Rover and I've always like the CTS. Just wondering if any of you guys have personal experiance with them. I am guessing roof racks etc are available...

Is that any less of a gas hog? Maybe a little less.

    The Rover gets 14mpg highway
CTS gets 26+ mpg highway - so yes it is quite a bit better.

My father has a CTS, he loves it, and says he will buy another when he gets a new car.
He is getting 29mpg highway and 23ish around town, excellent for a V6 imo.

The only 2 things i dont like about it are:
The feel of the leather (all american cars have "fake" feeling leather in my opinion.)
And the Heat/AC is very loud when the fan speed is turned up......It makes a loud wooshing noise coming out of the dash and sounds like a leaf blower....it annoys me, but you might not mind it.

Pulled the trigger on a super clean 2005 yesterday. 52k miles, one owner car. Got 29mpg driving home from work yesterday!

I've had like 20+ cars, from Audi, BMW, Rover, Corvettes, Subaru etc etc. Never had a Caddy so I figured it was time to give one a try. So far I am pretty impressed

Going to add an 1 1/4" receiver hitch to it and get a nice fork mount bike rack

I'd go for a 2" hitch and hitch rack though. That makes the hitch and rack quite a bit stronger and more capable when you're hauling 2 (or more) bikes.
