    Bike Racks Galore

Just got back into biking and I need a means of transporting my bike to the trails. Just curious what all of you use/don't use for bike racks. I have a '95 BMW 325is so I've been looking at trunk racks. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a 95 M3, i just fold down the back seats, take off the front wheel and throw the bike in the trunk. I have a trunk rack, but by the time it is strapped to the car and all, i could have had the wheel on and off 5 times.

Freaky - Are you my doppleganger?

I also have a 95 M3, also fold down the back seat, remove wheel and seatpost, etc. I have a trunk rack but only use it if I'm riding with a friend who doesn't have a truck (uncommon in the Texas hick town I live in). The trunk rack is annoying to put on and off, and I worry constantly about my paint when it's on the car.

Dare I ask what color your M is?

    Mac

That was my first thought but the trunk is otherwise occupied w/ stereo equipment, etc.
