    Bike "Enclosure" Question

I'm posting this question for my parents....

My parents travel nearly full-time in their RV. Behind their RV they tow a 1/2 ton Chevy truck. From the towing receiver of the towed truck, they have a bike rack that carries two bikes....but the road spray nearly completely gums up the drivetrain and makes them impossible to ride without a TON of work.

Is there a product out there that would enclose the bikes? I had envisioned some sort of plastic shell. These are not downhill bikes or anything...they are "comfort bikes"...

Can anyone provide any links or help? They would really like to ride bikes, but they need an enclosure like I described.

    Thanks!

I dont know of a box that would be big enough. If you dont find a solution, possibly a chainless bicycle would be a better choice for them.
They require little to no maintenance.

    Something like this?

Or how about a tarp and some bungie cords?
