Which is best fork mount tray for 135mm dropouts?

I just got a new 2011 Specialized Epic and was considering carrying it on my old Thule 589 VeloVise fork mount tray (after I notch a hole to clear the caliper). I just realized that the Epic has 135mm dropouts whereas the manual (manual here) says it can only do 100mm....would it still work?

135mm is the width of a "regular" QR rear/frame dropout.

A "regular" QR fork measures 100mm between its dropouts

Do you want to use the fork mount to secure the frame(rear)?

My bad....I was under the assumption that the fronts were also 135mm.

That makes me feel better since I don't have to pick up any new trays.
