599 Thule Bigmouth rack - issues with leaning?

I've had my bigmouth rack for about 7 years. It worked fine for most of that time, but now it seems to be leaning to the right. It hasn't fallen over, but I do have concerns that sooner or later, it might. I've gently pulled it back, but it doesn't seem to stay straight very long.

And no, I'm not cornering like a mad person with a bike in the rack.

Any suggestions on a more permanent repair? Or is it time to get a new rack? I'm contemplating the 594 XT, due to its capacity for wider tires.

Also, do any other racks seem prone to this problem?

you may want to pull the rack off the bars, and check the small allen bolt that attaches the bottom plate to the bike tray for tightness.
no leaning issues with sidearms...i've been using one for years, never had an issue.
sometimes with racks like the big mouth, or yakima raptor/lockjaws, where you clamp to the downtube on the frame, you have the leaning tower syndrome.

Thank you kindly. I'll have a look into that.

    Update:

Turns out that by not having the rack installed perfectly straight, the clamping arms get pulled to the side. This, in turn, will make the bike lean to one side or another.

Thanks again, Scott. Your idea about the Allen bolt led me to the answer.

    Cheers!
