    1up Rack Mod

    I wasn't quite content with the 1up Add-On rack's "security system." Having a security bolt protruding that can easily be thwarted by a single turn with pair of vise grips ain't very secure, IMO. So I had Cal fab me a new plate with a third security bolt that was recessed to challenge the casual thief.

    That is super cool. Have you ever tried to turn the bolt with vise-grips?

    Yes, and the knurled sides facilitate.

    bet they incorporate the countersinking into future designs. demand your due.

    Then they should incorporate another suggestion of mine and move the left Nyloc nut over 1/4" so one can fit a box wrench or socket on it.

    I agree... However, the nuts are only supposed to be used to keep the bolts from vibrating off when not attached to a tray and supposedly shouldn't be tightened. Some of us paranoid types still tighten them down though, looking over should now...

    Yes, I only meant to facilitate in snugging them up against the plate.
