Thinking of an exceed but have some questions

I have a gnarly trail bike. Which is great for most things but Iím wanting to pick up an xc hardtail for xc dutys. Iím looking at the exceed for value reasons. I feel the 3300 model is by far the best bang for anyoneís buck. Dropper post, eagle, DT Swiss wheels... stellar bike. My only concern is the durability of this bike. Iím 235 lbs. I emailed canyon and all they have to say is that their bikes are rated for 265 lb riders. The trailers would be steep up steep down a fair amount of rocks and roots but no Hucks drops or jumps. If any very small. Can this bike hold up to me??

If you're worried about your abilities, you may want to check out the Guerrilla gravity pedal head. It's at a similar price point and you can customize all of the hardware to your liking. Plus, it's an aluminum frame.

Iím not worried about my abilities... worried about the frame. I want carbon for the weight. All day epics, gravel grinding, some light bike packing duties.. just a rocker hardtail. I like the geo and the specs of this bike. But need to make sure sheís not gonna crack on me. Thereís lots of people larger than me riding carbon hardtails trek pro cal, niner rdo stuff like that.

Also keep in mind, when you go carbon there are only a few factories in the world that make the frames. I'm not saying all frames of the same, but it's a good chance that all the frames are similar.

Correct. I'm sure someone can get all technical, but I wouldn't worry about carbon unless you beat it over a rock. Haha

Thatís what I want to hear. I emailed canyon directly asking to be directed to someone that can speak of the durability of these frames.
