Stive owners - what psi are you running in your rear shock

I'm not sure if I have a problem or not so I'm looking to see what other people are running

I have a 2016 medium carbon Strive with a Fox Factory Float X (tune C236)

I weigh in at about 85kg.

To get anywhere close to 30% sag I'm needing to run about 270psi which seems really high. From the manual Fox recommend max 300psi

I've been doing some testing with a shockwiz and at 270psi I'm getting lots of green. Dynamic sag is 38% though

The o ring shows me I'm using all the travel

Spoke to the distributor here in Australia yesterday and they would like to have a look at it but it might mean the shock is gone for a couple of weeks

Those of you with Float X shocks what weight are you and what psi are you running?

That is a popular problem (I have it too with my strive CF 9.0 2016 with Fox Float X...) and it seems to be related with heavier riders... like me too. I have not been able to find an answer/fix yet. Please let us know what your distributor tells you.

I also have a 2016 Strive CF 9.0 with Fox Float X. I'm fairly light at 68kg but I'm running ~200psi to get the proper amount of sag and reduction in bob. I feel like I need to pump it up even more to be honest and will also note that I like to have my suspension on the firmer side.

Let me know what you gents find out, I'm interested to know and am looking into alternative shocks in parallel (X2, DHX2)

Shock is off the bike and will tomorrow start its journey to the Australian distributor for evaluation. A 65kg friend who rides pretty similarly to me is running 145psi

I am 92kg and run 310psi in my Float x. Does yours have the EVOL can. Max PSI on these is 350
