Shimano M8000 Brakes on older (2010) carbon lefty.

I have used formula brakes for a number of yrs. They always went through space between the head tube and the upper (between the clamps)

I have a Shimano XT M8000 (the new ones) and I cannot figure how to get them through that space.

    Anyone done it???

I could route the hose when I shorten it, but that just seems like a nightmare to have to deal with disconnecting the hose to remove the brake and then bleed again.
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.

More than likely you'll have to shorten the hoses anyway. Bled them on the bike before you mount the caliper so you can easily get the air up to the lever. Otherwise take the fork off.
